Young Asian Women's Group
This group is a safe and welcoming space for young women
to connect and build confidence. Sessions can include arts and crafts, wellbeing check-ins,
creative projects, confidence-building activities, and open discussions about school,
friendships, and life goals.

Family Support Group
This group is for parents and carers, designed to help
families function well and cope with challenges. Sessions offer practical guidance, peer
support, and space to talk through issues such as school difficulties, behaviour at home,
and relationship pressures within the family.

Online Support Group Membership Code of Conduct
Please read this policy in full, then tick the agreement box to continue.
Group Member Expected Behaviours
To be respectful of others and their personal boundaries.
To be mindful of diversity and younger members when contributing to the group, including the use of language in the online space.
To keep things confidential within the group and not share any personal information, discussions, or screenshots outside of the group.
To give other members time and space to contribute to the group if they wish and avoid interrupting or dominating discussions.
To be supportive and welcoming to new members joining the online group.
To respect members' choices of names and pronouns.
To ensure participation takes place in a safe and appropriate environment and avoid recording the session, taking screenshots, or sharing content from the session without permission.
To respect members' choices to be involved in activities outside of the group, including group chats and social media. Any group chats, social media, or outside activities are not the responsibility of The What? Centre or its staff.
To use the online platform respectfully and appropriately (we may request at times to keep microphones muted).
Zero Tolerance Policy
The What? Centre has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY on disrespectful, rude, or aggressive behaviour towards group members and What? Centre staff.
Failure to comply with this will result in removal from the group.
The What? Centre has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY on the use of alcohol or substances during online group sessions.
Failure to comply with this will result in removal from the group.
The What? Centre Duty of Care to You and Other Members
To ensure that group behaviours and norms are respected and, if not, to raise issues with members when necessary.
To be available for members to raise any issues they are experiencing within the group.
To offer support to members if they are having issues outside of the group.
To safeguard all members participating in the group.
To follow Dudley Safeguarding Board Policies to ensure all members feel safe within the group.
To ensure that all of your personal information is kept confidential and stored securely.
The What? Centre is not responsible for monitoring activities outside of the group, including but not limited to group chats and social media.
Camera and Anonymity Policy
Members are encouraged to participate in a way that helps create a safe and connected group environment.
Where possible, members may be asked to have their camera on at the beginning of the session to confirm attendance and ensure safeguarding requirements are met.
However, facilitators understand that some members may prefer to participate with their camera off for personal comfort or accessibility reasons.
Members may use first names only or a preferred name within the group.
Members must not record, photograph or take screenshots of any part of the session, and must not share the identities or personal information of other members outside of the group.
Disconnection or Leaving a Session
Online sessions rely on internet connectivity and technology, and occasional disconnections may occur.
If a member disconnects unexpectedly, they are welcome to rejoin the session if possible.
If a member leaves the session suddenly and facilitators have concerns about their wellbeing, facilitators may attempt to follow up after the session where appropriate.
Members are encouraged to notify the facilitator, where possible, if they need to leave a session early.
Agreement
I agree to abide by The What? Centre rules as stated above. I understand that if I break any of these rules, I may be asked to leave the group.
